Load Sheave

Load sheave is part of hoist which is used to drive load chain for lifting load up and down. Most of load sheave is made of certified steel under international standard for strength, durability, friction resistance, excellent workload capacity and wear resistance.

Load sheave transmits force to move load chain with rotational speed and torque.

It is recommended to inspect load sheave condition every year together with chain inspection. Furthermore, load sheave inspection must use specialized and standardized tools for measuring groove wear.
